What we do

Reconciling accounts, preparing taxes, or analyzing spending usually means retyping rows from a PDF by hand. RazorParse automates that: it detects the transaction table, parses dates and amounts, handles password-protected PDFs, and even reads scanned statements with OCR — then hands you a tidy file.

Who runs RazorParse

RazorParse is built and operated by the RazorParse team. It is an independent product — not a reseller or white-label of another extraction service — and there is no third-party extraction API in the processing path. You can reach the team directly at support@razorparse.com.

Where your data is processed

Statements are processed on secure cloud infrastructure in the EU/UK. Extraction runs on our own servers; your file is not sent to any outside API or shared with third parties.

Privacy and data retention

We never store your bank statements. Your file is processed and the transactions returned to your browser, then the uploaded file and any generated Excel/CSV/JSON output are deleted automatically — outputs are purged within 60 minutes at the latest, and nothing is retained after your session. Security

The security behind "files are never stored" is concrete: uploads are size- and type-checked (only genuine PDF/Excel/CSV files by magic bytes), the site is served over HTTPS with HSTS and standard hardening headers, password-protected PDFs are unlocked in memory using the password you supply and never written in the clear, request rate limits guard against abuse, and generated files auto- expire and are removed on a schedule. Account numbers that appear in a file name are redacted from our internal logs.
